FROM KAILARI TO BARA: Tharu Children's Book Launch is a week-long program that focuses on unveiling a special set of children's literature in four different languages. We will feature Read Alouds by poets, journalists and researchers who wrote these original stories in Bara Jilla Tharu and Dangaura Tharu and Nepali languages. We will also have conversations with these writers as well as with illustrators who brought the words to life using color and imagination. We are inviting all of you to join us on Facebook.

The six original Children's Books are produced by Srijanalaya with the support of The Asia Foundation's Let's Read Nepal initiative. Srijanalaya is an NGO based in Nepal that creates safer spaces of learning through the arts.
